I have a 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser that I have been storing over the
winter to keep the salt off her (I live in Western New York). I went out
yesterday to perform the weekly start and warm-up and found that there is NO clutch pressure. The clutch goes right to the floor. Any ideas to what might be wrong?
If you still have fluid in the clutch master cylinder reservoir, I suspect the Master cylinder has failed or the clutch slave cylinder has.
Either way, both should be changed at the same time to keep this problem
from coming back.
You may try bleeding the clutch first to see if the pedal comes up. If it
does, then change the above parts when you have time.
