This winter has been a long one. While it my car stays parked more than it is driven the squirrels chew up my engine wiring harness, twice! I have put moth balls to drive them away as well as poison. So far nothing seems to work. Do you have any ideas to stop these “varmints”?
I have on word for you “Tabasco”. Buy you the largest bottle of this pepper sauce you can find. Put it in a spray bottle and spray the engine compartment completely. Make sure you wear eye protection and rubber gloves. It is strong stuff to smell and varmints don’t like to chew on things that are spicy. Several cars have come into my shop this year with the same problem and it works great to keep them “varmints” away.
